Young Authors' Conference

The Young Authors' Conference is held every year for area fifth grade students. The Conference is a culminating event proceeding the work that fifth grade students accomplished in their classrooms with their teachers' guidance. Representatives from the schools are selected to attend the Young Authors' Conference held each year at a location in New Philadelphia.

Featured Author: Laurie Lazzaro Knowlton

Our spring conference was held on: Friday, May 20, 2011 at J.I.M's Place

Over two hundred fourth and fifth grade students from the area will be invited to participate. Students will be chosen from their respective schools to attend the conference after writing their own books.

Students will also enjoy sessions presented by Greg Scott, Illustrator; the ECOESC Department of Technology using laptops and the software Comic Life; and will watch a magic show at lunch featuring Billy Motts.
