About the Internship:
Explore a career in public school finance through a paid, semester-based internship hosted by the East Central Ohio Educational Service Center. You will observe and engage in finance-related activities and environments at Educational Service Centers and K-12 schools. The internship is designed to provide
hands-on exposure to public school finance and operations while supporting Ohio’s pipeline of future school treasurers and finance professionals.
The Internship is aligned with Ohio school treasurer standards and may support preparation for future licensure and field experience requirements. Participation does not guarantee licensure eligibility but provides meaningful exposure to the profession.

Internship Details:
- Paid, hourly position
- Anticipated Start Date: June 15, 2026
- Duration: Semester-based (12–15 weeks)
- 20-25 hours per week
- Junior or Senior status in college preferred; some completed coursework in accounting/finance required
- Supervised by ESC and school finance professionals
- Aligned with Ohio treasurer standards
- Primary work location – Dover, Ohio
