The East Central Ohio ESC provides a comprehensive range of special education services and supports to member districts across the region. Our team of licensed specialists works alongside district staff to ensure students with disabilities receive high-quality, legally compliant services tailored to their individual needs — from evaluation and therapy to transition planning and administrator support.

One-on-one mentoring and guidance for new and experienced special education administrators navigating compliance, programming decisions, and leadership challenges.

Skill-Building for Transition

Programs and supports designed to prepare students with disabilities for life after high school, including employment, independent living, and post-secondary education.

Professional Development

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)

Initial certification and refresher training in the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention program. Sessions are offered both on-site at the requesting district and at ECOESC office locations for added convenience.

Special Education Administrator Network

A regional networking group for special education administrators to collaborate, share best practices, and discuss timely topics related to program administration, compliance, and student support.
