Departments
Alternative Education & Support Services
The Alternative Education & Support Services department is responsible for overseeing the education within all of our alternative schools, which provide a unique learning environment to students who may not be successful in a traditional school program. They play a critical role in ensuring that students receive the support and resources they need to succeed academically and personally. The department works closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized education plans that meet the needs of each student. Overall, the Alternative Education & Support Services department plays an essential role in ensuring that all students have access to quality education, regardless of their background or learning style.
Educational Services
The Educational Services department plays a role in supporting school districts in curriculum design, evaluation, and implementation, as well as overseeing educational programming funded by numerous grants. They are also responsible for writing grants to initiate new educational programs within the school districts they serve. Additionally, they provide instructional coaching, teacher evaluation support, and various other services that assist school districts in improving their instructional practices. Overall, the Educational Services department is a vital component of ensuring that students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for future success.
Human Resources
The Human Resources department plays a role in assisting the Treasurer’s office in license compliance, as well as all other human-resource related duties. They are responsible for managing employee recruitment, retention, and development, as well as ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and policies. They also handle employee benefits, payroll, and performance management, and are often involved in resolving employee conflicts and ensuring a safe and positive workplace culture. In short, the Human Resources department is a vital component of an organization, ensuring that its human capital is managed effectively and efficiently, and supporting the overall success and growth of the organization.
Special Education & Preschool Services
The Special Education & Preschool Services department provides young children with high-quality care and educational services. They are responsible for managing and operating our preschools, which serve as children’s essential early learning environment. Additionally, they provide a range of therapeutic services to school-age students, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and other therapies, to support the development of students in our preschools and those in our school district partners. Overall, the department is committed to providing individualized care and support to each child, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Technology & Print Services
The Technology & Print Services department plays the role of supporting the technology needs of our agency, as well as our school district and government customers. They are responsible for maintaining and upgrading the technological infrastructure, providing technical support to users, and ensuring that systems are secure and reliable. Additionally, they operate a commercial print center that offers a wide range of print products, including vinyl banners, window graphics, business cards, engraving, custom signage, and apparel. Overall, the department is committed to providing high-quality technology and print services that meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Workforce Development & Student Wellness
The Workforce Development & Student Wellness department is committed to helping students succeed in their careers and in life. They provide various services to help students explore career options, such as internship and job shadowing opportunities, so they can make informed decisions about their future. They also offer prevention training on various topics, including alcohol, tobacco, drug use, suicide, and other issues that teens and adolescents face.
