Part-Time Intervention Specialist

Quaker Digital Academy is seeking a remote, part-time Intervention Specialist.

Overview:

• Manage caseload of average of 12-24 students
• Provide Special Education services (virtual and/or face to face) according to IEP
• Demonstrate knowledge of adaptive technologies
• Facilitate IEP meetings for students
• Write and implement IEP
• Compile and maintain special education files
• Monitor and report progress toward IEP goals and Objectives
• Complete all activities required for compliance with IDEA
• Maintain accurate records
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of basic computer skills (including Google)
• Develop positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Keep detailed documentation from conferences
• Serve as instructional supervisor for all students assigned through online system
• Share in workload of general projects
• Lead parent orientations
• Participate in staff meetings and conferences
• Provide technical support to all employees or subcontractors
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree K-12 Intervention Specialist
• Ohio License in Required Fields
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organization and time-management skills
• Flexible schedule

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Experience working in an online environment
• An understanding of homeschooling environments
• An ability to learn new technology tools quickly
• An ability to support adults with basic computer set-up and navigation

Additional Information:

• Part-time from Home – $31.61 per hour, as-needed
