Substitute Teacher – East Guernsey

East Guernsey Local School District is seeking a long-term Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be assigned to a variety of daily and long-term absences at the high school level throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Temporary or General Substitute License (can be obtained after hire); preference will be given to those able to obtain a General Substitute License
• Criminal record free of violations that would prohibit employment in public schools

Contract Details:

• $175/Day
• 173 Day Contract – May be prorated based on start date
