Local Students Explore Career Possibilities with ECOESC Career Connections Program

The East Central Ohio Educational Service Center’s Career Connections Program has been busy this spring connecting local students with businesses and career paths open to them in their surrounding communities.

Middle school students from Cambridge City schools, East Guernsey Local schools, Rolling Hills Local Schools, Newcomerstown Exempted Village Schools, and Indian Valley Local Schools have recently had the chance to tour local businesses and learn about job opportunities. Some of the students participated in Lunch and Learn activities hosted by the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center or Kent State Tuscarawas. They all completed a problem-based learning experience during the program as well. They were even treated the lunch provided by the businesses.

A huge thank you to our Guernsey and Tuscarawas County businesses that help make this program possible for the students!
