Overview

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Computer/Network Technician to join our dynamic IT team. Duties

  • Diagnose & Repair: Identify hardware issues on PCs, servers, printers, and peripherals, executing repairs per ECOESC protocols with precision and speed.

  • Deploy & Upgrade: Lead the installation, configuration, and upgrading of hardware, software, and peripherals.

  • User Support: Provide high-energy technical support for MS Office, web browsers, and proprietary software, ensuring a positive user experience.

  • Ticket Management: Proactively manage the lifecycle of service requests; respond to, follow up on, and close tickets promptly with detailed documentation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to escalate Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues, ensuring no problem falls through the cracks.

  • Asset Management: Partner with the managing supervisor to maintain an organized inventory of supplies and equipment.

  • Compliance & Growth: Maintain strict confidentiality of records, follow company procedures, and actively participate in coaching, reviews, and team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users with patience and clarity.

  • Self-Starter Mindset: Proven ability to work independently, take initiative on tasks, and manage multiple priorities with a keen sense of urgency.

  • Team Synergy: A collaborative spirit with a “no task too small” attitude and a willingness to support teammates.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of computer hardware and TCP/IP networking/protocols.

  • Methodology: Proficiency in the ITIL framework for service management is preferred.

  • Adaptability: A commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve on emerging technology trends.

  • Physical & Legal: Ability to lift 30 pounds and must pass a criminal background check.
