McKinney-Vento Grant Coordinator, Marcia Murphy, said of the donation, “As Casey and I shared on Sunday, the churches in the Guernsey County community are the true backbone, consistently giving back and stepping up when we are in need of funds to provide support and resources to students and families in need. The unwavering dedication and commitment to the community are commendable, as that plays such a vital role in fostering a sense of unity and compassion. Through these selfless acts, the churches have become a beacon of hope, providing assistance and uplifting those who require it the most. We are incredibly grateful for these tireless efforts and the invaluable contributions that are made to the community’s well-being.”
