Intervention Coordinator

East Central Ohio ESC

In coordination with Bellaire City Schools, the East Central Ohio ESC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Intervention Coordinator to serve one half-day per week for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This part-time position is ideal for an experienced educator, school psychologist or intervention specialist who is passionate about supporting student success and collaborating with school staff to implement effective intervention strategies.

Position:  Intervention Coordinator (Part-Time)

Schedule: ½ day per week (specific day/time to be determined)

Location: Bellaire City Schools

Primary Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate academic intervention services for students identified as needing additional support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Analyze academic data to identify student needs and guide instructional decisions.
  • Assist with developing and implementing Response to Intervention (RtI) plans and IEPs as required.
  • Participate in meetings related to student support services as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio teacher’s license/certification appropriate for assignment.
  • Experience with academic interventions, progress monitoring, and data analysis.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and families.
